Product Manager (ALDI)

About the Role

ALDI team is responsible for a channel where merchants independently issue out credit products without the involvement of Salmon agent present in store. Our goal is to build the best product experience for these merchants - seamless, efficient, and growth-oriented.

We’re looking for a Product Manager who will lead the development of this area: deeply understand merchant needs, drive product strategy, and build scalable solutions that grow activation, retention, and overall sales performance.

The position involves being and working most of the time in Manila. We help with relocation, finding housing and other things to make your move as comfortable as possible.

What you’ll do:

• Analyse our merchant portfolio and design initiatives to increase activation, reactivation, and overall sales performance.

• Own the product vision and roadmap for tools and services used by merchants such as our mobile app; prioritise initiatives based on impact and effort.

• Partner closely with the Sales team to redesign processes, tools, and workflows that boost merchant sales and team performance.

• Design and run experiments to validate ideas and measure the impact of product initiatives on key business metrics.

• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Technology teams to ensure alignment and flawless execution of product initiatives.

Who You Are

• 3+ years of product experience - you’ve shipped things, broken things, learned fast, and ideally done it in fintech or with merchant-facing products.

• You know how to work with cross-functional teams - speaking both the language of engineers and the business, aligning devs, ops, and external partners around one goal.

• You’ve got a data-driven mindset - you love numbers, dashboards, and digging into portfolio metrics until you find what really moves the needle.

• Comfortable in English - both in chats and meetings - and excited to collaborate with a multicultural, English-speaking team of locals and expats.

• Ready to get your hands dirty in the field - this role means spending plenty of time with merchants, understanding their world, and sometimes even travelling around Philippines to be closer to the needs of our partners.
