Product Designer [Payments & ATM]

At Plata, we build financial products that feel simple, fast, and reliable — even when there’s a lot of complexity underneath. Payments are one of the most frequently used and business-critical parts of our product, and we’re now expanding the team to take this experience to the next level.

This role goes beyond maintaining existing solutions — it’s about rethinking how payment experiences should work today: clearer, smarter, and more intuitive for users.

Challenges that await you:

• Design and evolve core payment and transfer experiences — one of the most high-impact areas of the product

• Rethink and improve complex end-to-end user flows, making them simple and intuitive

• Work on Plata ATM — designing interfaces for real-world banking touchpoints where clarity, speed, and trust are critical

• Contribute to introducing AI into payment scenarios, shaping how users interact with smarter financial tools

• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, analysts, and other designers

• Drive design decisions using data, user insights, and product thinking

What makes you a great fit:

• 4–5 years of experience in product design

• Experience designing complex user flows (e.g., payments, checkout, transactional scenarios)

• Background in strong product companies or fast-growing startups

• A solid portfolio that demonstrates systems thinking and attention to detail

• Ability to simplify complexity and design clear, user-friendly experiences

• Strong collaboration skills and comfort working in cross-functional teams

Your bonus skills:

• Experience in fintech, payments, banking, or similar domains

• Experience designing for ATM or other self-service interfaces

• Experience working with AI-driven features or personalization in products
