Product Designer

Remote

We're Sweed, a product-driven startup building an all-in-one cannabis retail platform. We’re on the lookout for a Product Designer to join our team remotely and help us scale and optimize our platform.

We’ve been on the market for 6 years, continuously growing and refining our product. Our focus is on earning customer trust, which means constantly improving our delivery processes and rolling out new features. At the same time, we navigate the complex legal landscape of the cannabis industry, ensuring our platform remains compliant and future-proof.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Design and improve interfaces for administrative systems, POS, and employee-facing applications (such as courier and warehouse tools), considering complex user scenarios and business logic.

  • Develop logical user flows and system structures, ensuring usability and efficiency in daily operations.

  • Create and maintain designs for screens, dashboards, and modules that help users complete their tasks quickly and easily.

  • Prototype ideas to test user flows, validate concepts, and communicate solutions with cross-functional teams.

  • Build strong collaborative relationships with other designers as well as colleagues outside of the design team.

  • Work with and contribute to our design system to ensure coherent, accessible, and scalable enterprise experiences.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong portfolio showcasing your process and work on complex systems (such as ERP platforms, administrative tools, or B2B products).

  • Experience designing and shipping end-to-end experiences for web-based platforms and native applications.

  • Proven expertise in creating user flows and structures for highly functional products with seamless navigation.

  • Ability to define interaction design that balances business goals, user needs, and technical feasibility, delivering intuitive and effective solutions.

  • Hands-on experience with products beyond e-commerce, particularly administrative and operational tools (e.g., POS, workforce management systems).

  • Experience conducting or applying user research to improve design solutions.

  • System thinking: the ability to see relationships between various product components and account for their impact on users and business processes.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, both verbal and written, with English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate or higher.

  • Proactive and independent, capable of managing ambiguity and driving your work forward with minimal guidance.

  • Strong planning and organizational skills to effectively manage your time while keeping stakeholders informed through regular updates and reports.

What Else Matters?

  • Proactivity – We love team members who take initiative and provide feedback

  • Critical thinking – We value problem-solvers who think beyond just writing code

  • Adaptability – Our industry is evolving fast, and we need people who thrive in change
