Product Designer
We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to help us rethink Salmon Referral Program.
Unlike traditional bring-a-friend programs (we have one too!), our referral program is aimed at the people Salmon customers see every day: cashiers, security guards, merchandisers. Once they sign up for the referral program, they can recommend Salmon products and earn with every approved application. It's a whole new way to increase one's earnings without having to do that much extra work. Sounds like a win-win, doesn't it?
Together with the team, you are to ensure that our promoters are happy end to end: from the moment they sign up to their first paychecks, displayed in their accounts. A new learning experience to sell more effectively? Sure. More withdrawal methods support? Will do! A feed with memes to share with your fellow promoters? Okay, that might be a bit too much. The point is that the product goes well beyond the balance page and the "withdraw" button, and that’s what makes it exciting.
The referral platform has recently undergone a major technical upgrade, so now the team is free to experiment: build things, break things, fix things. How cool is that?
Key Responsibilities
Own product design for all Referral Program digital surfaces – from ideas to live product
Proactively bring insights to the table. Sometimes it's a field trip to chat with our users, sometimes it's an AB test for a button label
Guide the team towards innovations and user-centric product thinking
Actively contribute to the design system and collaborate with other designers on new patterns and shared solutions
What we expect from candidate
3+ years of experience as a product designer with a record of solid mobile-first projects
Excellent Figma skills. Auto-layouts, slots, variables, advanced prototyping – we have it all.
Solid product discovery and research skills. Know the difference between card sorting and AB-test? Awesome. Can conduct one on your own? Even better.
Good understanding of how web products are built. Having some coding experience would be a huge plus.
Curious mindset. You've come to the right place if a new flashy tool gets you excited, not anxious.
Being a designer. CJMs and wireframes are great, but what we all care about is eventually building a product that people are happy to use. Sometimes it means going that extra mile to find the perfect gradient for the hero banner.
Fluency in English (B2+) is a must.
