PHP Developer

We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer who will strengthen the team. You will report directly to the Head of PHP.

Our Technologies:

1. PHP 8.1 - 8.3, Golang
2. Codeception/PHPUnit, PHPStan, Rector, Code style checks + CI/CD in GitHub
3. MySQL 8.0, PostgreSQL 15
4. RabbitMQ, Redis
5. Graylog, Jaeger, Prometheus, Grafana
6. JIRA for task management
7. Kubernetes and Docker for local development

Your Role

1. Optimize the performance of PHP 8.1+ applications and troubleshoot issues.
2. Maintain and develop new internal/external integrations with providers and microservices.
3. Refactor and optimize existing monolithic code.
4. Write unit tests to ensure code quality.
5. Develop and document APIs.
6. Conduct code reviews and participate in cross-reviews.
7. Collaborate closely with the QA and Product teams.

What We’re Looking For

1. Ability to take responsibility for tasks and proactively address challenges.
2. 5+ years of professional experience in PHP development.
3. Familiarity with popular frameworks such as: Laravel, Symfony, and Yii.
4. Strong knowledge of SQL (MySQL), including the ability to build complex queries, work with aggregations, and optimize indexes. Understanding of transactions is also important.
5. Experience with REST APIs.
6. Familiarity with microservice architecture.
7. Experience with Redis/Memcache for caching strategies.
8. Practical experience with RabbitMQ or similar message brokers to build scalable, asynchronous systems.
9. Understanding of shared resources, locks, idempotency, ACID principles, etc.
10. Hands-on experience with Docker.
