Backend Developer (PHP/Go)

Cyprus, Limassol, full relocation package.

We are looking for an experienced backend developer who will join our team of a highload (200k RPS) project in Limassol office.

Responsibilities

  1. Development and support of business tasks;

  2. Work on infrastructure tasks;

  3. Profiling and optimizing solutions;

  4. Unit and API code coverage with tests;

  5. Search for scaling solutions.

Requirements

  1. At least 5 years of experience in PHP/Go development (the current version of PHP in the project is 8.2);

  2. Proficient in PHP and MySQL;

  3. REST API - design and implementation;

  4. Unit and functional tests - understanding why they are needed, the ability and desire to write them;

  5. Debugging, profiling, optimization of PHP/Go code - practical experience;

  6. Sharding, replication - understanding the principles, pros and cons.

  7. Data structures - to be able to choose the right one for solving a specific task.

Qualification that can be a plus:

  1. Experience with Elasticsearch, Redis, microservices, Golang.

Recruitment process

  1. HR Interview (45 mins);

  2. Technical Interview (1.5 hours);

  3. Test task (3-6 hours);

  4. Final Interview (1 hour).
