Network Department Coordinator

Servers.com is a global IaaS hosting platform. We provide reliable business solutions including dedicated servers, cloud technologies, load balancers, firewalls, Kubernetes, and monitoring services. 

Our clients use our services to deploy game servers, payment gateways, streaming services, and other high-load systems.

We are looking for a person who can identify problems, recommend solutions, and lead initiatives to train and improve team performance using departmental network metrics and a data-driven approach.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Technical Leads of the network subteams and the Head of the Network Department.

Main responsibilities

• Coordination and Metrics

• Enhance the department’s metrics framework, including methods and processes for collecting, storing, and visualizing data.

• Provide transparency into subteam workloads and workflows, and identify performance bottlenecks using a data driven approach.

• Design, implement, and enforce workflows that ensure efficiency and consistency within network subteams and across departments.

• Drive automation of data collection and reporting to improve reliability and reduce manual effort.

• Identify performance issues and bottlenecks using metrics, and propose actionable solutions to improve team and departmental outcomes.

• Develop and implement technical solutions for measuring and visualizing metrics and automating metrics.

People and Development

• Plan and track team members’ professional development using data-driven approach based on performance metrics.

• Support people management decisions by identifying resource gaps and recommending incentive or development initiatives to enhance team performance.

• Support and facilitate the feedback, mentoring, and guidance process.

• Execute project initiatives aimed at improving team processes and overall work quality.

Experience and Background

• Previous experience in network operations, engineering, or IT operations, with exposure to network infrastructure and performance metrics.

• Solid high-level understanding of networking fundamentals, network monitoring, incident management, and vendor equipment.

• Proven experience managing or coordinating technical teams, including setting team goals and supporting professional development.

• Experience implementing processes defining and tracking team performance metrics, and visualizing results.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and mentor engineers to ensure efficient team operations.

• Proficient in English.
