Monitoring Engineer (Duty Engineer)

Full-Time Remote

Responsibilities:

• Monitor systems and infrastructure in real time (24/7 with 12-hour shifts 08:00-20:00 and 20:00-08:00 UTC+3).

• Approximately 10-11 night shifts and 4-5 day shifts per month.

• Day shifts are usually on Saturdays and Sundays.

• Promptly process incoming requests and incidents.

• Initially diagnose problems and document them.

• Resolve simple incidents.

• Escalate complex problems to the next support line promptly.

• Maintain incident documentation.

• Participate in the improvement of monitoring and response processes.

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix systems

• Familiarity with monitoring systems

• Interest in IT system administration and support

• Basic scripting skills (Bash, Python)

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of web servers and network technologies.

• Familiarity with cloud technology concepts (preferably AWS).

• Basic knowledge of computers and operating systems.

• Knowledge of containerization principles (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Attention to detail and analytical thinking.

• Readiness to work shifts, including nights and weekends.

• Willingness to learn and quickly acquire new knowledge.

• Good communication skills.

• Basic English proficiency (ability to read technical documentation with a dictionary).

• Technical education or student of a technical specialty.
