MongoDB Database Administrator

B2Tech is seeking a highly skilled DBA & Data Engineer to join our DBA team!

You’ll manage and optimize our MongoDB production databases, ensure reliability & security, and build Airflow pipelines to move and sync data efficiently.

YOUR IMPACT:

• Be the go‑to expert for all MongoDB matters at B2Tech

• Maintain & support MongoDB (Atlas & on‑prem)

• Support SQL Server and Postgres (on‑prem & AWS)

• Monitor system health & performance

• Advise engineers on SQL queries and schema design

• Manage HA/DR & minimize downtime

• Plan for scalability & architecture improvements

• Implement version/patch upgrades

• Create extraction pipelines (MongoDB & SQL Server)

• Participate in the on‑call rotation
  

OUR REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years of data platform experience (2+ as DBA)

• Hands‑on MongoDB & relational DB expertise

• Data engineering experience (Airflow preferred)

• AWS (1+ year) experience

• Advanced T‑SQL development skills

• Knowledge of Git workflows, backup/recovery, and data integrity

• Analytical mindset & problem‑solving skills

• Fluent English communication

• Nice to have: dbatools, Redgate SQL Toolbelt, Coralogix, CI/CD, Liquibase
