Mobile Release & Store Operations Manager
The Platform Mobile team is looking for a Mobile Release & Store Operations Manager to own the end-to-end release process for our mobile app across Mexico and Colombia. Right now, release responsibilities are distributed across multiple people and teams — your mission is to bring this together into a single, predictable, and reliable process.
Beyond releases, you'll take ownership of our app's presence in the App Store and Google Play: driving ASO initiatives, managing store content, coordinating featuring opportunities, and turning user reviews into product insights.
Challenges that await you:
Owning the full release lifecycle — from build preparation and release calendar management to post-launch monitoring and rollout control
Improving release stability and reducing the number of incidents, hotfixes, and calendar shifts
Coordinating release readiness across 7–9 mobile teams, QA, release engineers, and product teams
Managing release checklists, quality gates, and release communication across stakeholders
Conducting release retrospectives and implementing systemic improvements to the process
Coordinating hotfixes: from triage and decision-making to publication
Managing App Store Connect and Google Play Console: publishing releases, handling metadata, release notes, screenshots, localizations, and store assets
Launching and iterating on store listing experiments and custom product pages
Building and scaling ASO initiatives: keyword strategy, content experiments, conversion optimization
Leading featuring efforts: maintaining a calendar of opportunities, preparing nomination materials, coordinating with design, marketing, and product
Running the reviews and ratings operation: monitoring, triage, categorization, coordinating responses, and escalating systemic issues to product and engineering
Analyzing key metrics (ratings, crash rate, install conversion, update adoption, app size) and identifying growth opportunities
What makes you a great fit:
3–4 years of experience as a Release Manager, Delivery Manager, or Project Manager with a strong mobile focus
Hands-on experience with end-to-end mobile release processes — you've owned a release calendar and driven it yourself
Practical knowledge of App Store Connect and Google Play Console — not just awareness, but actual hands-on work
Understanding of mobile development constraints: release cycles, CI/CD pipelines, build mechanics (iOS/Android), review timelines, staged rollout
Experience coordinating multiple teams simultaneously toward a shared release goal
Track record of building, documenting, and improving processes — checklists, quality gates, release communication
English B2+ — you'll work in an international environment with teams across Mexico and Colombia
Strong communication skills: you can align engineers, PMs, designers, and marketers around a release timeline
Your bonus skills:
Hands-on ASO experience (keyword research, store listing experiments, conversion analysis)
Experience with featuring nomination processes for App Store or Google Play
Background in fintech or high-growth B2C mobile products
Experience working in matrix organizations or across multiple markets
Our ways of working:
Innovative Spirit: A commitment to creativity and groundbreaking solutions
Honest Feedback: valuing open, transparent communication
Supportive Team: a strong, collaborative community
Celebrating Achievements: recognizing our wins together
High-Tech Environment: a team full of smart and revolutionary people who date to challenge the status quo of incumbent finances
Our benefits:
Relocation support to one of our hubs — Cyprus or Serbia — with assistance for the employee and their family
Flexible work from one of our offices or remote
Healthcare Coverage
Education Budget: Language lessons, professional training and certifications
Wellness Budget: Mental health and fitness activity reimbursements
Vacation policy: 20 days of annual leave and paid sick leave
Example background we're excited about:
You've spent the last 3–4 years at a mobile-first product company — a fintech, marketplace, or consumer app. You owned the release calendar, ran the release readiness process, and were the person everyone called when something went wrong in production. You've published releases in both App Store Connect and Google Play Console, know what a staged rollout looks like, and have coordinated a hotfix under pressure. Along the way, you started diving into store operations — managing metadata, running experiments, maybe kicking off ASO work. You're someone who loves turning chaos into a system, and you're ready to build that system from scratch.
