ML Engineer NLP

Manila, Philippines, relocation or Remote work is possible, preferred time zones GMT+5 to GMT+10.

We are looking for a new addition to our ML team - NLP Machine Learning Engineer. As a part of our fast-growing team you will play an important role in developing and implementing machine learning models to enhance our products and services.

Your future tasks:

1. Develop intent‐classification models to accurately identify user intents
2. Fine‐tune prompts and optimize large-language models for enhanced performance
3. Analyze chat interactions to extract insights, monitor trends, and pinpoint opportunities for improvement
4. Deploy and maintain machine-learning models
5. (Optional) Develop and integrate voice-bot solutions for candidates with audio processing experience.

What we expect from candidate:

1. 2+ years' experience as an NLP/ML Engineer
2. Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML/NLP frameworks
3. Hands-on expertise in core NLP tasks:
4. Classical text‐processing techniques
5. Implementing and customizing transformer-based architectures for task-specific NLP applications
6. Text embedding
7. Large Language Models (LLMs)
8. Proven track record designing, developing, and deploying ML models and end-user products
9. Experience optimizing models for performance and efficiency in production

Nice to Have

1. Voice-bot development or audio-processing experience
2. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS EC2, S3, Lambda, SageMaker)
3. Infrastructure-as-Code knowledge (Terraform)
4. Containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
