Middle+ QA Automation Engineer

Elinext is an international IT company specializing in custom software development and integration for clients worldwide. We deliver solutions across industries such as Fintech, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and others.

We are looking for a Middle+ QA Automation Engineer with a strong Manual QA background to join a project focused on developing a new Debt Management System.

About the project:

The product is a software system for managing debt accounts, payments, balances, repayment plans, interest, overdue amounts, and communication with debtors.
As part of the MVP, the team is migrating from a legacy Desktop application to a new Web application, developing the core functionality and gradually replacing the existing legacy system.
The main automation focus at the current stage is API and integration testing, with potential expansion to UI and E2E automation.

✅ Responsibilities
— Analyze requirements and design test scenarios
— Create and maintain test cases in Jira Xray
— Develop and maintain automated tests
— Focus primarily on API and integration test automation
— Participate in test planning and other QA activities
— Perform manual testing when required
— Investigate and analyze failed automated tests
— Contribute to the development and improvement of the automation framework
— Work with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution
— Collaborate closely with international development and QA teams

✅ Requirements
— Strong Manual QA background
— Solid knowledge of requirements analysis, test design, test cases, and testing techniques
— Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript
— Experience with API testing
— Experience with CI/CD
— Experience with Git
— Good understanding of QA processes and testing principles
— English B1 minimum, B2+ preferred

✅ Nice to Have
— Jira Xray experience
— .NET / C# knowledge
— SQL and database testing experience
— Integration and E2E testing experience
— GitLab CI/CD experience

👥 Team
The QA Automation team will consist of 3–4 QA Automation Engineers working closely with Italian and Polish teams.
The role involves active communication and participation in meetings in English.
