Middle Full Stack Engineer

We are looking for a Middle Full Stack Engineer to join the engineering team at Assaia. This role involves developing and maintaining features for the ApronAI platform, which utilizes computer vision to monitor airport operations. You will work across the full stack, connecting data-rich frontend applications with backend microservices, while also contributing to our internal design system and hybrid mobile application.

Our Tech Stack

Frontend: TypeScript, React, and MobX
Backend: Python 3.x, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and PostgreSQL
Infrastructure: Docker, Gitlab, Kubernetes

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop features for product frontend applications (React) and related backend services (Python).

• Assist in taking ownership of backend services, ensuring their reliability and integration with the broader platform.

• Maintain and further develop the internal UI components system to ensure consistency across applications.

• Develop and maintain the hybrid mobile application.

• Troubleshoot system issues in coordination with QA and Backend teams to ensure smooth operations.

• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions to support team collaboration.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software development (or equivalent proven technical track record).

• Proficiency with modern JavaScript/TypeScript and SPA frameworks. Experience with state manager libraries.

• Proficiency with Python and backend development principles. Experience with any modern web framework, ORM, and DBs (relational/non-relational).

• Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD processes.

• Knowledge of standard protocols and data formats including HTTP, WebSockets.

• Ability to balance development speed with technical quality across different projects.

• Very good verbal and written English skills (at least B2+).
