About the project:

An E-learning platform with the possibility of interactive learning (3D, VR), where you can also store training manuals. This project is built on micro services, the main modules of the platform:
– Storage of manuals and materials;
– Portal for training and retraining of teachers with obtaining a STEM certificate;
– Storage of participants’ profiles (rating, academic performance, grades, schedules, etc.);
– Automation of the platform’s business processes (financial accounting, Human resources, etc.).

This platform is one of the largest educational systems in the United States with about 15,000,000 registered users in the system.

User location: USA, Canada, Great Britain, Australia and New Zealand.
One of the parts of the portal is being developed jointly with the world-famous CNN media corporation.

Your Responsibilities at Aristek Systems

– Define requirements by creating and managing high-level business solutions and BA artifacts, while identifying potential problems, opportunities, and dependencies for efficient project planning.
– Perform in-depth research to produce comprehensive project requirements and user stories, complete with acceptance criteria, determining specifications, conducting gap and competitive analyses, outlining business rules, and devising roadmaps to transition from the current state to the desired state.
– Demonstrate negotiation skills in managing requirements among multiple stakeholders to ensure alignment between client expectations and our capabilities.
– Visualize business processes, represent potential application workflows, and construct UML diagrams to enhance understanding and documentation of project components.
– Contribute a valuable business perspective to the customer process, providing conceptual insights and mockups when necessary.
– Ensure ongoing communication with internal project teams to synchronize visions, coordinate solutions, and foster alignment among ecosystem components.
– Facilitate effective communication regarding proposed solutions, enhancements, and modifications to ensure alignment between potential clients and internal teams.
– Actively participate in meetings, conduct demo sessions, gather feedback, and deliver compiled outcomes in a follow-up format post-meetings.
– Collaborate closely with potential clients during the Presale phase, engaging with stakeholders — including management, development, and engineering teams — to understand their business objectives and requirements, subsequently documenting initial business processes, workflows, and potential system functionalities.
– Use AI tools as part of the daily BA workflow — e.g. drafting requirements/user stories with AI assistance, building reusable prompt templates or lightweight skills for recurring analysis tasks, and using AI to accelerate research, meeting summarization, and documentation.

Required Skills and Experience

General
– Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, including at least 2 years on projects within Software Development organizations.
– Strong knowledge of business analysis methods and tools, with the ability to quickly understand complex processes, take on new tasks, and find effective solutions.
– Experience on a SaaS or platform product, ideally in EdTech or another regulated, integration-heavy vertical.
– Full knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies, with practical experience applying them to projects.
– Demonstrated experience working with task management systems such as Jira and Confluence.
– Familiarity with prototyping tools like Figma, Axure, and Balsamiq.
– Proficiency in constructing diagrams using tools like Draw.io and Lucidchart for visualizing requirements and processes.
– Proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher, with excellent verbal and written skills.
– Ability to build strong client relationships, understand their needs, resolve issues, and provide consistent support throughout development.
– Experience creating compelling proposals, presentations, and demonstration materials to showcase the value of proposed solutions to prospective clients.
– Team player with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
– Self-motivated, self-managing, and result-oriented.

AI-native skills
– Hands-on experience using AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) as a working tool rather than a simple chatbot — building custom instructions/skills and repeatable workflows for BA tasks (generating draft requirements, analyzing tickets/chat logs, summarizing meetings).
– Understanding of the AI agent concept and experience setting up simple automations — e.g. connecting AI to Jira/Confluence or similar systems via MCP (Model Context Protocol) or comparable integrations.
– Working knowledge of prompt engineering — able to frame tasks for AI so the output is structured, checkable, and actually usable.
– Critical approach to AI output: verifies facts, catches hallucinations, doesn’t take generated content at face value.

Nice to have
– Hands-on experience gathering and documenting requirements for at least one of: roster/data-sync integrations (e.g., Clever, ClassLink, OneRoster), single sign-on (SAML, OIDC, or LTI), or LMS integrations.
– Working understanding of K-12 student data privacy fundamentals (FERPA, COPPA) and how they shape product requirements.
– Management (project or team coordination) experience — ability to handle complex tasks, coordinate activities, and ensure successful delivery of projects.
– Experience working in cross-cultural teams, showcasing the ability to collaborate in diverse environments.
– Experience building or configuring AI agents/toolkits beyond basic prompting (e.g. multi-step pipelines, custom MCP connectors) is a strong plus.
