Junior Product Designer

We’re looking for a Product Designer to help build the future of AI companionship. You’ll work on a wide range of product surfaces — chat experiences, live interactive features, payments, onboarding, character creation, and more.

You’ll collaborate closely with our Product Design Lead and senior designers to bring ideas from concept → prototype → polished product. You’ll help refine existing patterns, contribute to our design system, and ship features that millions will use every month.

This role is perfect for a designer who has strong foundations, loves consumer products, and wants to rapidly level up in a high-velocity environment.

Responsibilities

Product & Feature Design

• Own end-to-end design for individual features with guidance from senior designers

• Translate product requirements into clear, intuitive, mobile-first interfaces

• Contribute to the evolution of our design system

• Apply user insights and competitive patterns to improve usability and engagement

Collaboration & Workflow

• Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and senior designers from concept to delivery

• Rapidly prototype and test ideas before committing to full builds

• Participate in design reviews and implement feedback quickly

• Communicate design rationale clearly across teams

Improvement & Experimentation

• Iterate based on data, experiment results, and stakeholder feedback

• Support fast-paced A/B testing with quick design iterations

• Experiment with AI-assisted design workflows to speed up delivery and explore new possibilities

• Stay ahead of design trends, AI UX patterns, and emerging interaction models

Challenges You’ll Tackle

• Design features used by millions in a fast-moving, ambiguous problem space

• Improve user flows that drive activation, retention, and monetization

• Balance speed with craft in high-velocity product cycles

• Learn to design for AI behaviours, dynamic content, and emotional UX

• Build foundational skills for moving toward Senior level

Qualifications

Must-Haves

• 2 years of product design experience, ideally on mobile consumer apps

• Strong interaction design, visual design, and layout fundamentals

• Ability to create polished UI in Figma

• Experience with Figma prototyping

• Ability to present work clearly and incorporate feedback

• Solid understanding of design principles, usability, and mobile UX patterns

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with AI-driven products

• Experience in entertainment, social, or chat-based apps

• Interest in motion, storytelling, or character-driven experiences

• Comfortable designing NSFW content

We love portfolios with:

• A strong foundational grasp of visual design

• Clear interaction flows and reasoning behind decisions

• At least one end-to-end case study (problem → solution → outcome)

• Evidence of collaboration with PMs and engineers

• Demonstrated improvement over time (showing growth mindset)
