Junior IT Support Technician

As a Junior IT Support Technician, you will be part of our fast-growing IT department. You will work closely with other teams while also serving as the primary point of contact for support requests and error reports from employees.
Responsibilities
Set up new user accounts and machines
Install and maintain hardware/software components on user PCs
Keep operating systems and software updated and patched to maintain user-level security
Replace defective hardware or systems when needed
Act as the first point of contact for error reporting and end-user support
Assist users in operating software and computer equipment
Maintain an up-to-date inventory of software and hardware
Collaborate with the network team to manage Telephony systems
Maintain IoT devices (e.g., video conferencing systems, printers, etc.)
Work with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve system/network issues
Record and update IT support tickets in the Jira Ticketing System
Manage the company’s physical access control system
Update and review technical documentation
Carry out other tasks as assigned occasionally
Requirements
University degree in Computer Science or a related IT field
Excellent English language skills
At least one year of experience in a similar role
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems (MacOS knowledge is a plus)
Basic understanding of computer hardware
Knowledge of Windows Active Directory
Good knowledge of Office365 and Google Workspace applications
