Appodeal is looking for a Head of Publishing to lead and grow our Accelerator program. This is a strategic leadership role for someone with deep expertise in mobile game publishing, user acquisition, and monetization. The ideal candidate will drive the execution of our accelerator strategy, manage key partnerships, and optimize performance to ensure long-term success.

As Head of Publishing, you will be responsible for expanding our portfolio, maximizing revenue, and ensuring that our games achieve their full market potential. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to develop a thriving publishing ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Publishing Strategy: Develop and execute a scalable and data-driven strategy for game publishing, ensuring alignment with business goals.

  • Portfolio Growth: Identify and onboard high-potential game titles, working with developers to enhance their marketability, monetization, and performance.

  • Market & Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends, analyzing competitor strategies and emerging opportunities to refine our publishing approach.

  • P&L Management: Oversee the financial performance of the publishing unit, ensuring profitable growth and optimal resource allocation.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Product, Monetization, User Acquisition teams to ensure seamless execution and performance optimization.

  • Partner & Developer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with game developers, fostering long-term partnerships.

  • Performance Tracking & Optimization: Continuously analyze key metrics, adjusting strategies to improve retention, engagement, and monetization.

  • Team Leadership & Culture: Lead a team of publishing professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and high performance.

Requirements:

  • You've personally owned P&L responsibility and can point to measurable outcomes: portfolio ARPU growth, studio retention rates, revenue scaled.

  • Proven experience in mobile game publishing, with a strong track record of launching and scaling successful titles.

  • 10+ years in leadership roles within game publishing, mobile gaming, or a related field.

  • Deep knowledge of user acquisition, monetization strategies, and ASO.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and optimize publishing strategies.

  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills for managing developers and external partners.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience collaborating across distributed teams.

Nice to Have:

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

  • Experience working within an integrated adtech-to-publishing model.
