Head of Product

Ruby Labs is a tech company with a portfolio of consumer products in health, education, and entertainment (100M+ annual users). We are looking for a hands-on Head of Product who will personally own our subscription product's ARPU growth, with a clear target of 15% QoQ. You don't just manage a team that builds features - you design them, analyze them, and use AI tools like Claude to prototype and implement them yourself.

You live in the data, move fast, and treat AI as a core part of how you execute. At Ruby Labs, results drive everything, including compensation.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive ARPU growth by at least 15% quarter-over-quarter as your primary KPI, taking ownership of a product.

  • Shape the product vision and roadmap using user behavior data, market research, and competitive analysis, proactively identifying growth opportunities before they become obvious.

  • Design, prototype, and validate new features yourself using AI tools, then lead the team through implementation.

  • Own the metrics layer: build dashboards, run regular performance reviews, and deliver actionable reports that drive decisions across the team.

  • Conduct ongoing analysis of user sessions, cohorts, and behavioral patterns to detect friction, drop-offs, and monetization gaps early.

  • Lead and align cross-functional teams to ship high-impact features at speed, maintaining quality and velocity.

  • Foster a performance-driven team culture that embraces accountability and rapid iteration.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in product management with a proven track record on subscription-based digital products.

  • Demonstrated success improving ARPU/ARPPU with clear, quantifiable outcomes.

  • Deeply analytical: hands-on with tools like Mixpanel - funnels, cohort reports, custom dashboards, and a habit of going to data first, every time.

  • AI fluency: actively uses Claude and other AI tools for prototyping, research, and execution. Core expectation, not a nice-to-have.

  • Advanced understanding of retention metrics, churn reduction, and lifecycle optimization for recurring revenue models.

  • Strong grasp of UI/UX principles and component-based design systems.

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and shipping high-impact features at speed.

  • Outstanding communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Fluent Russian and English.

Nice to Have:

  • Background in premium/subscription products.

  • International/global market experience.

  • Experience growing products from the ground up.

  • Experience in B2C SaaS.
