Head of Digital Acquisition
At Plata, we are building and scaling our presence in Colombia, and digital acquisition will be a key driver of growth from day one. We are looking for a Head of Digital Acquisition who will take full ownership of performance marketing, from strategy to hands-on execution.
This is a zero-to-one role: you will build the acquisition function from scratch, define the channels and approach, and personally launch and optimize campaigns before scaling the team. You will work at the intersection of marketing, product, and data to drive efficient and sustainable user growth.
Challenges that await you
Build the digital acquisition function in Colombia from the ground up
Define and execute the performance marketing strategy across key channels (paid social, search, display, affiliates, etc.)
Launch and manage campaigns hands-on, including setting up ad accounts, tracking, and attribution
Continuously optimize funnels, creatives, and targeting to improve CAC and conversion rates
Work closely with product and analytics teams to improve onboarding and user activation
Analyze performance data and turn insights into actionable improvements
Test new channels, hypotheses, and growth levers in a fast iteration cycle
Hire and grow the acquisition team as the function scales
Own acquisition budgets and ensure efficient allocation and ROI
What makes you a great fit
Proven experience in performance marketing or digital acquisition, ideally in fintech, consumer tech, or high-growth environments
Ability to operate both strategically and tactically, from setting direction to executing campaigns yourself
Experience building and leading acquisition teams, including hiring, mentoring, and scaling talent
Strong understanding of attribution, tracking, and analytics tools
Ability to set clear goals, structure team processes, and drive performance across the team
Experience building acquisition funnels and optimizing conversion end to end
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
Experience launching or scaling markets or products from scratch is a strong plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high ownership
English proficiency at B2 level or higher for effective collaboration with an international team
