We are looking for a Head of Customs and Logistics to manage JoomPro's logistics and customs operations in Brazil, lead a team, and drive continuous improvement across customs clearance, certification, and warehouse coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and control the full scope of Brazil logistics operations: customs clearance, logistics providers, certification, and warehouse coordination

  • Own relationships with logistics providers, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers; negotiate tariffs and service levels

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new logistics and customs partners on an ongoing basis

  • Build and refine operational processes with each partner based on hands-on analysis of performance data

  • Track delivery performance and benchmark contracted rates against the market to drive continuous improvement

  • Lead and develop the local logistics and customs team

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience managing international logistics operations

  • End-to-end expertise in customs clearance operations

  • Proven track record leading and developing operational logistics teams

  • Experience finding new logistics/customs partners and negotiating tariffs and contracts

  • Comfortable working through day-to-day operational details as well as high-level strategy

  • Fluent English and Portuguese

Preferred

  • Background in a retail company importing from China, at a logistics/customs service provider, or at a Comex company

  • Familiarity with Brazilian import modalities such as Importação por Encomenda and Importação por Conta e Ordem
