We’re looking for a brand marketer who wants to own a brand outright — not manage a channel. You’ll take Scrambly from a company the industry respects on performance to one it can’t stop talking about. You’ll own strategy, tone of voice, design, content, and events — and you’ll grow our LinkedIn audience several times over and build a newsletter audience from the ground up, fast, and clean.
This isn’t a seat-warmer role. You’ll produce the work, not just brief it. You’ll live in Figma, LinkedIn, your newsletter platform, analytics, and AI tools every day, and hold a ruthless bar on every word and pixel. If you’re a driven, super-energetic go-getter who wants full ownership, hates messy design and lazy copy, and wants to build a brand people talk about — this is your seat.
Own the brand end-to-end — strategy, positioning, tone of voice, design, and every asset that ships under our name.
Grow our LinkedIn audience several times over — build a clean, distinctive feed the industry actually reads.
Build our owned audience — grow the newsletter from the ground up through our B2B site and content.
Run the content engine — a steady drumbeat of industry reports and case studies, each sharp enough to be a sales weapon.
Define our tone of voice — document it, and hold everyone to it.
Own field marketing — run our marquee corporate events end-to-end, booths included.
Make people talk about us — earned attention, thought leadership, and share of voice, punching above a bootstrapped budget.
Set a ruthless quality bar — nothing clumsy, cluttered, or off-brand goes out.
Use AI daily — across research, content, and production.
Report the numbers — audience, engagement, and output, on a tight cadence.
5+ years in brand, content, or marketing — ideally at strong B2B product companies.
Proven audience building — you’ve personally grown an owned channel into a serious audience and can show it.
A clean eye — you’ve worked on great, clean B2B products, and it shows in your work.
End-to-end content production — you write and direct reports, case studies, posts, and newsletters yourself.
Design fluency — Figma (Canva/Adobe fine); you can art-direct and hold the visual bar.
Analytics fluency — LinkedIn analytics, GA, Mixpanel (Amplitude, GrowthBook or similar fine).
Newsletter / CRM tools — HubSpot, Customer.io, Substack, Beehiiv or similar.
Event experience — you’ve run booths and corporate events, not just attended them.
Growth-hacker instinct — you find unfair ways to grow attention.
Advanced AI user — AI is in your daily workflow.
Owner mentality — you fix problems and move without hand-holding.
English C1+ — this is a copy-critical role.
You likely have 5+ years building brand and content at B2B product companies, where you personally owned an audience and grew it — not as one voice on a big team, but as the person holding the standard.
Industries you likely come from
B2B SaaS.
Adtech / martech.
Developer-first or API products.
Fintech.
Performance marketing / affiliate ecosystems.
B2B media or creator-led brands.
Types of companies you may have worked at
Bootstrapped or lean B2B products with a strong, distinctive brand.
Fast-scaling startups where marketing was small and sharp.
Design-led B2B companies known for clean work.
Product-led growth companies.
Scrambly is meritocratic, fast, product-first, and flat. We ship in days, not quarters, we value direct feedback over titles, and we hold an explicit A-player bar. You’ll have full autonomy from day one — and full ownership of the outcome.
👉 The bar: a brand the industry talks about, an audience that grows several times over in six months, and a content engine that never misses — all ruthlessly clean. If that lights you up, let’s talk.
By submitting this application, I agree that my personal data will be collected, processed, and retained by the company solely for the purposes of managing and assessing my candidacy.
