Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of software requirements or system dependencies to provide early feedback on quality-related aspects, and design appropriate testing strategies for complex backend workflows

• Participate in product and architectural design reviews and create comprehensive test plans accordingly.

• Design and execute testing strategies for Android, Web, and iOS clients.

• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and automated tests if you have an interest) based on product requirements and specifications.

• Lead and execute end-to-end quality assurance activities, including test planning, test design, test execution, and defect management.

• Design and execute backend integration, e2e tests for domain microservices, including API testing beyond basic functionality, message queue testing, and service integration validation.

• Ensure the highest test coverage to meet the quality gate.

• Manage and support the release processes (participate in manual regression).

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in QA

• Strong interpersonal skills; a true team player.

• Ability to work with little supervision.

• Able to take ownership and deliver results.

• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA's role in each phase.

• Deep knowledge of test design techniques and test coverage assessment.

• Solid experience with client testing: Android, web, iOS.

• Solid understanding of client-server architecture and QA best practices/tools.

• Experience with testing microservices architectures, message queues, event-driven systems, or similar distributed system components.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide practical solutions.

• Ability to analyse system logs, debug complex multi-service interactions, and understand data flow across system boundaries.

• Familiarity with Git and Git commands.

• Excellent verbal and written English.
