General Manager (EdTech AI Product)
We are looking for a General Manager to lead and scale a newly launched EdTech AI product as a standalone business unit inside the company.
This role goes beyond marketing ownership. The General Manager is responsible for turning an early-stage product into a scalable and profitable business, aligning growth, product, and operations around clear economic outcomes.
The product is already built, the first funnel and core communications are live, and early marketing tests are underway. The next step is to build a disciplined growth system, shape product and monetization priorities, and assemble the team required to scale the business.
This role is an opportunity to take a product at release stage and turn it into a real, scalable business.
Mission
Your mission is to turn an early-stage EdTech AI product into a scalable and profitable business unit. You will define how the product grows, how it monetizes, and how the organization executes against those priorities. This role requires building a disciplined growth system while shaping product and monetization priorities in parallel.

Responsibilities:
Scope of Ownership
As General Manager, you will operate as the business owner of the product unit. Your responsibilities include:
Business leadership
Own the product as a standalone business unit within the company
Define and execute the strategy for growth, monetization, and business development
Drive the unit toward strong unit economics and sustainable positive PAM (Profit After Marketing)
Growth & monetization
Lead the development and scaling of the full growth system - from acquisition and communication to conversion and monetization
Establish disciplined experimentation across funnels, pricing, and user journeys
Build repeatable systems for testing, learning, and scaling growth
Product direction
Work closely with product and engineering to prioritize initiatives that directly impact growth and monetization
Ensure product development remains tightly aligned with market feedback and business performance
Team leadership
Build and lead a high-performing cross-functional team across growth, marketing, analytics, and product execution
Establish clear ownership, operating rhythms, and accountability across the organization
Operational execution
Set priorities across initiatives and allocate resources toward the highest-impact opportunities
Build processes that enable fast experimentation and reliable execution
P&L responsibility
Own the economics of the business unit
Make data-driven decisions to optimize growth efficiency, unit economics, and profitability

What we look for:
We are looking for leaders who combine growth expertise with a strong business ownership mindset.
You are likely a strong fit if you bring:
5+ years of experience in Growth, User Acquisition, Performance Marketing, Product-led Growth, or similar roles within digital products
3+ years in leadership roles, managing and building teams responsible for growth, marketing, or product scaling
Proven experience building and scaling web-based funnels, including web-to-web and web-to-app acquisition flows
Strong hands-on understanding of full-funnel growth mechanics - from acquisition and creative testing to conversion, monetization, and retention
Experience working with high-volume paid acquisition channels such as Meta, Google, and TikTok
A track record of owning business outcomes, including growth efficiency, monetization, unit economics, and profitability
Experience building and managing cross-functional teams across growth, marketing, analytics, and product execution
The ability to move comfortably between strategic leadership and hands-on problem solving
