About the Role
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to build, secure, and automate our cloud infrastructure on AWS. You will play a critical role in enabling our engineering teams to ship faster and more reliably by implementing Infrastructure as Code, managing data pipelines, and ensuring our serverless environments are secure, scalable, and cost-effective.
This is a hands-on role where you'll bridge the gap between development and operations, working with modern cloud-native technologies to create resilient systems that support our growing platform.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Automation
Design and manage serverless cloud environments using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles
Eliminate manual configuration by scripting infrastructure changes and ensuring reproducibility across environments
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments
Data Pipeline Management
Build and automate data flows between analytics platforms (BigQuery) and storage solutions (AWS S3)
Ensure data availability, integrity, and reliability across systems
Optimize data transfer processes for performance and cost-efficiency
Release Engineering
Create robust deployment scripts and tools for Development, Staging, and Production environments
Implement blue-green deployments and rollback strategies to minimize downtime
Enable developers to deploy confidently with automated testing and validation
Security & Governance
Manage IAM roles, policies, and access controls following the principle of least privilege
Implement security best practices across all infrastructure components
Ensure compliance with data protection standards and internal security policies
Monitoring & Optimization
Set up comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
Analyze system performance and usage metrics to identify optimization opportunities
Proactively manage cloud costs and implement cost-saving strategies
