DevOps Engineer (Advertising platform)

We are developing a partner advertising high-load system with a large RPS, convenient and modern interface. We are growing exponentially and successfully implementing new technologies to accelerate this growth and the system as a whole.

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer.

Job responsibilities

  • Kubernetes (OKD) Management: Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications in OKD;

  • Create and maintain Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests;

  • Work closely with the PaaS team to resolve complex infrastructure issues.

  • CI/CD & GitOps: Deep integration of Kubernetes deployments with GitLab CI;

  • Debug and optimize delivery pipelines;

  • Support Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).

  • Linux Administration: Administer and maintain virtual machines running CentOS 9 (configuration, updates, troubleshooting).

  • Application Support: Ensure the stability of PHP (Nginx Unit -> FrankenPHP) and Go applications.

  • Data & Messaging: Manage stateful services: Redis (Cluster), NATS, RabbitMQ, ClickHouse, and ScyllaDB on VMs.

  • Observability: Maintain the logging and monitoring stack (Vector + Elasticsearch + Kibana, Sentry).

  • Networking: Manage traffic proxying and load balancing (Nginx, Caddy + Consul, Cloudflare).

  • QA Support: Support the infrastructure for automated testing (Allure, Selenium).

Job requirements

  • Kubernetes Proficiency: Strong experience using Kubernetes for application deployment;

  • Ability to write and debug complex manifests and Helm charts.

  • Troubleshooting: Skilled in debugging applications inside K8s (analyzing logs, events, pod states, and networking issues) and fixing failed CI/CD jobs.

  • Linux: Solid experience in administering CentOS/RHEL systems.

  • IaC: Proficiency with Terraform and Ansible.

  • CI/CD: Experience building delivery pipelines in GitLab CI.

  • Networking & Web Servers: Understanding of HTTP/S, DNS, and web servers (Nginx, Caddy).

  • Scripting: Ability to automate tasks using Bash, Python, or Go.

  • As a plus:

  • GitOps: Hands-on experience with ArgoCD.

  • Ubuntu: Familiarity with Ubuntu (as we are considering a future migration).

  • Database Optimization: Deep knowledge of MySQL, specifically query optimization.

  • High Load Stack: Experience with ClickHouse, ScyllaDB, or high-throughput message brokers.

  • Modern PHP: Familiarity with asynchronous PHP runtimes (FrankenPHP).

  • Observability: Experience configuring Vector.
