Database Engineer / Database Administrator
💥 Interexy is looking for a Senior Database Engineer / Database Administrator 💥
Responsibilities:
– Maintain database systems with optimal performance and uptime
– Design and implement databases based on business requirements
– Apply patches, upgrades, and changes as necessary
– Support backup, recovery, and data synchronization across distributed systems
– Monitor and resolve database issues using tools like Foglight, PRTG, and Grafana
– Troubleshoot database-related issues with DevOps teams
– Optimize query performance and implement indexing strategies
– Enforce database security and access controls
Requirements:
– 4+ years of experience as a DB Engineer / Administrator
– Hands-on experience with MSSQL and NoSQL databases
– Expertise in T-SQL, scripting, and third-party DB tools
– Strong understanding of data security, replication, and monitoring
– Microsoft Azure Database Administrator certification is a plus
– Experience with containerized databases (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
– Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
