For our client in the finance sector, we are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a data platform project.

Start: June 2026 (or earlier by agreement)
๐ Duration: Until 31.12.2026 + possible extension
โฑ Workload: Full-time
Responsibilities
โข Work closely with stakeholders to clarify business & technical requirements
โข Coordinate data integration with multiple source systems
โข Design Data Warehouse models using Data Vault methodology
โข Develop and optimize data pipelines (SQL & Python)
โข Build scalable transformations using Databricks and dbt
โข Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance in banking use cases
Requirements
โ๏ธ Data Engineering / Data Warehouse experience
โ๏ธ Strong SQL & Python
โ๏ธ Experience with Databricks
โ๏ธ Experience with dbt
โ๏ธ Data Vault modeling
โ๏ธ Experience working with multiple source systems
โ๏ธ German & English โ business fluent
โ๏ธ Banking experience is a plus
