Data Analyst (Partnership and Risks)

The Senior Data Analyst will be dedicated to minimizing risk exposure and enhancing the profitability of the company’s product. The role involves conducting risk assessments, developing mitigation strategies, and supporting initiatives aimed at preventing fraud and ensuring the integrity of operations.
What you'll actually do
Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights.
Formulate hypotheses, conduct experiments (A/B testing, backtesting), and recommend data-driven improvements.
Continuously monitor key metrics, business performance, and market dynamics to uncover optimization opportunities.
Develop solutions to protect the company from abusive behavior, increase profitability, and reduce risk.
Manage the full lifecycle from problem identification to solution implementation.
Research new abuse techniques and emerging threats, adapting detection methods accordingly.
Monitor and ensure the quality and effectiveness of anti-abuse solutions.
Collaborate with operational and monitoring teams to research and investigate suspicious patterns.
Build and maintain analytical tools, reports, and dashboards to support business units and stakeholders.
Who we’re looking for
Degree in Mathematical Science or a related field
Higher education (advanced degree) is preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in:
Data and risk analysis
Quantitative research
Working with large datasets, algorithms, and data structures
Experience in anti-fraud functions within the financial sector is an advantage
Technical proficiency in:
Programming languages: Python, R
SQL and database management
Statistics, mathematical modeling, and machine learning
Soft skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, pragmatic decision-making, effective presentation and communication skills, integrity, sense of ownership, and collaborative mindset
