C++ Engineer Windows

FinDev is looking for a Senior C++ Developer to join a team building and expanding a real-time electronic trading platform for the Fixed Income market. You’ll work on backend development in C++, building and enhancing server-side components that power real-time trading applications.

The team focuses primarily on Fixed Income Financing, developing technology used by some of the largest Investment Banks, Asset Managers, and Hedge Funds.

What you will do

• Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services in C++ for real-time trading applications.

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle.

• Work closely with business teams to translate client needs into technical solutions.

• Collaborate with QA and Support teams to investigate and resolve development and production issues.

• Take ownership of technical problems and drive them through resolution.

Required

• 7+ years of professional C++ development experience

• Strong knowledge of C++ and object-oriented programming

• Hands-on experience with multithreading and concurrent programming.

• Strong understanding of data structures, design patterns, and templates

• Experience developing backend/server-side applications

• Good knowledge of databases and SQL.

• Experience with Git or other version control systems

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another relevant technical field

• Advanced English (B2+/C1) with strong communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial systems, electronic trading, or Fixed Income

• Professional C++ development experience on Windows, particularly with Visual Studio

• Understanding of networking and communication protocol fundamentals

• Experience with Perl or shell scripting.
