Business Development Lead

About PointZero

PointZero is B2B payment infrastructure. With a single integration, businesses get access to multiple local payment methods, fiat and crypto rails, on/off-ramp, card issuing, multi-currency accounts with IBANs, and AI-powered financial tools.

We help businesses go global without rebuilding their payment stack market by market. We hold VARA, EMI and MSB Canada licenses, and we work with crypto, fintech, iGaming and marketplace companies around the world.

We're looking for a Business Development Lead to own revenue growth and build our BD function from the ground up.

What you'll do

• Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to negotiation, closing and handover to onboarding

• Build and manage a pipeline of B2B clients in our core verticals: crypto and digital assets, fintech, marketplaces

• Sell our full product suite: payment acceptance, ramp checkout, white-label on/off-ramp, card issuing, accounts and IBANs, AML tooling

• Lead and mentor a BD team as we grow: set targets, processes and the sales playbook

• Build partnerships with PSPs, acquirers, banks, liquidity providers and referral partners

• Represent PointZero at industry events (Consensus, Money20/20, Token2049 and others)

• Work closely with Product, Compliance and the CEO to shape pricing, the roadmap and go-to-market by region

• Keep CRM and forecasting tidy, and report on pipeline and revenue

What we're looking for

• 4+ years in B2B sales or business development in payments, fintech or crypto, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role

• A solid grasp of the payments ecosystem: PSPs, acquiring, APMs and local payment methods, card issuing, BIN sponsorship, IBANs, SEPA, on/off-ramp

• A proven record of closing complex, high-value deals and hitting revenue targets

• An existing network across crypto, fintech or B2B merchants

• Experience leading people, or a strong drive to build and lead a team

• Comfort with KYC/KYB, AML and risk conversations with clients

• Fluent English, written and spoken; other languages (Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Turkish) are a plus

• A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced startup with little structure

Nice to have

• Experience at a PSP, EMI, acquirer, crypto exchange or ramp provider

• Experience entering markets in LATAM, MENA, Africa or Asia

• Experience structuring white-label or enterprise deals with setup fees and recurring revenue

What we offer

• A key role with real impact on company growth and strategy

• Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission

• A remote-friendly setup and flexible hours

• Direct work with the founder, with minimal bureaucracy and fast decisions

• Room to grow into Head of Sales / CRO
