We are now building a US introducing broker so Tangem customers can trade US equities inside the app, with a licensed US clearing broker as our partner. The US entity, its licensed officers, and the local regulatory work sit with outsourced specialists and external advisors. Everything those people need in order to do their jobs comes from headquarters — and that is your job.
You are not the compliance function and you are not expected to be a securities expert. You are the person at HQ who makes sure the advisors, the clearing broker, and the internal teams are never waiting on us.
Responsibilities:
Assemble and maintain the HQ-side inputs our external advisors need for the broker-dealer application: business and product descriptions, funding and money-flow narratives, technology and vendor schedules, organisational and reporting structure, and whatever else they ask for. You chase the underlying facts inside Tangem AG and turn them into what the advisors actually need.
Run the document request list: advisors and counsel will send us long lists with dates on them. You own the tracker, the owners, and the follow-ups, and you flag slippage before it becomes a delay.
Support the clearing broker relationship: consolidate our open questions, track their answers, keep a current view of what has been agreed and what is still open across clearing, API coverage, market data, KYC allocation, and commercial terms.
Hold external advisors to account as suppliers: read their drafts, catch places where they have misdescribed our product or our funding flow, and get corrections made rather than accepting the first version.
Produce revenue and cost estimates for the equities business, and keep them current as the commercial terms with the clearing broker and our vendors firm up.
Run competitor and market research on US retail brokerage and crypto-adjacent equities offerings; turn it into short memos that lead with a conclusion.
Keep documentation current — process maps, flow diagrams, and internal briefing material that design, engineering, and the US entity team can all work from.
Brief marketing and content so external communication describes the product accurately. In a regulated business the cost of a loose claim is higher than usual.
Requirements:
3+ years as a business analyst, project or programme coordinator, consultant, or in an operations role.
Background in trading, brokerage, asset management, or financial services more broadly. We would strongly prefer someone who already understands how a brokerage business makes money and where its operational risks sit, rather than someone learning that on the job while coordinating a licence application.
Evidence of having assembled material for a regulatory filing, licence application, audit, or major vendor due-diligence process. Any jurisdiction — this is the closest analogue to the work.
Comfortable managing external advisors and law firms as suppliers: scoping them, holding dates, and pushing back on a draft that is wrong.
Organised under pressure across many parallel threads, with a working style that closes loops without being chased. Much of this role is knowing what is outstanding, from whom, and by when.
Precise written English. Specs, memos, and trackers that are short, structured, and unambiguous.
Effective across time zones and across a headquarters/subsidiary split, where the people who need information and the people who hold it are rarely in the same room.
Nice to have:
Able to read a technical document or an API description well enough to describe a system accurately in writing, and to talk to developers without needing a translator.
Securities regulation or fintech licensing exposure; experience supporting a market-entry or new-entity project; SQL or Python for quick data pulls; Figma and MIRO; crypto literacy and self-custody familiarity (relevant later, when tokenised equities enter scope).
Target: the advisors and the clearing broker never wait on Tangem.
Nothing outstanding on us. Every advisor and counsel request has a named owner, a date, and a current status you can report without preparation.
Application inputs drafted. The HQ-side sections of the application package exist in reviewable draft, sourced from the right people internally rather than invented.
Partner log current. A single live record of open questions, agreed positions, and decisions still pending, shared with the Product Lead and the US team.
Commercial model on paper. A first revenue and cost model for the equities business, with assumptions stated explicitly and traceable to a source.
Target: you run the HQ coordination layer without direction.
Filing supported to submission — the HQ contribution to the application is complete, and any follow-up questions from the regulator or advisors are turned around in days.
Commercial terms supported to signature — clearing and vendor agreements have moved through negotiation with your tracking and analysis behind them.
First point of contact — advisors, the US entity team, and internal stakeholders come to you for status and detail before they come to the Product Lead.
What We Offer:
Stability, development, participation in the future unicorn's growth.
Remote work from anywhere in the world, excluding Russia and Belarus, with a schedule aligned with GMT+3.
Competitive salary in EUR/USDT.
Unlimited vacation.
Birthday presents.
Compensation for the purchase of necessary technical devices for the work.
Paid sick leaves.
Feel free to send you CV to Petr
