Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a team working on an innovative technology product with a long-term vision for growth and scalability. We are seeking a professional with a strong technical background, analytical mindset, and the ability to translate business needs into clear, structured, and actionable requirements and specifications for the development team.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and analyze business needs, collaborate with stakeholders to define product goals and requirements.

• Break down business objectives into actionable tasks, define and document functional and non-functional requirements.

• Prepare functional and technical specifications, describe business logic, system workflows, and data processing rules.

• Model business processes and system interactions using UML, BPMN, and other relevant methodologies.

• Define integration requirements, API contracts, data flows, and interactions between services.

• Analyze and document user scenarios, alternative flows, exceptions, and edge cases.

• Create, structure, maintain, and regularly update business analysis and technical documentation.

• Provide ongoing analytical support throughout the development lifecycle, including requirements clarification, team consultations, and participation in technical discussions.

• Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and the Product team to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and their accurate implementation.

Professional experience:

• At least 2 years of commercial experience as a Business System Analyst, System Analyst, or Requirements Analyst.

• Proven experience independently preparing functional and technical specifications for development teams.

• Strong skills in requirements elicitation, analysis, structuring, and documentation.

• Experience defining complex business logic, system processes, and interactions between product components.

Technical skills:

• Proficiency in system and process modeling using UML and BPMN; familiarity with EPC and IDEF.

• Solid understanding of client-server architecture and frontend/backend interactions.

• Knowledge of REST APIs, system integration principles, and data exchange formats.

• Understanding of relational and non-relational databases (SQL / NoSQL).

• Good knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Ability to analyze technical constraints, dependencies, and the impact of changes on existing functionality.

Soft skills:

• Strong analytical and systems thinking skills, with excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently, identify missing information, and ask relevant clarifying questions.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and justify proposed solutions.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in technical writing, including API documentation and system specifications.

• Hands-on experience creating User Stories, Use Cases, and Acceptance Criteria.

• Experience conducting stakeholder interviews and facilitating requirements discussions.

• Experience creating UI prototypes using Figma, Balsamiq, or similar tools.

• Understanding of UX/UI principles and their application to user journey design.
