Balance Game Designer

We're looking for a Balance Game Designer to join the team behind Hero Wars: Alliance—someone who is passionate about balancing heroes, abilities, synergies, and the meta in a hit mid-core battler.

Hero Wars: Alliance features a large roster of heroes (80+), and every new character or ability change can impact existing team compositions, counter-picks, PvP, and the overall combat experience. This role is about much more than tweaking numbers—you'll need to understand how each balancing decision affects the game as a whole.

What you'll focus on:

• Balancing the stats and abilities of new heroes.

• Evaluating how new characters interact with the existing hero roster.

• Working on synergies, counter-picks, and the evolving meta.

• Analyzing player behavior and post-release performance.

• Taking part in the full feature lifecycle—from concept and GDD to release, analytics, and future iterations.

In this role, it's also important to understand combat design: how an ability feels in combat, how readable it is, how players use it, and whether it affects the pace or overall feel of battles.

We hope that you have

• 5+ year of experience in Game Design

• Strong knowledge of successful mid-core games (Battler, 4x strategies)
