Backend Engineer (Logistics Stack)

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to build backend services and logistics integrations for our platforms, including an e-commerce platform for our cold crypto wallets.Responsibilities

Tech Stack: Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, TypeORM, PostgreSQL, AWS SNS/SQS

• Design and build backend services and APIs with Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.

• Build integrations with logistics providers, including shipping, tracking, fulfillment, and webhooks.

• Use AI-assisted development as part of the engineering workflow, with strong validation through code review and automated tests.

• Design reliable asynchronous workflows with AWS SNS/SQS, including retries, DLQs, and idempotent processing.

• Design and optimize PostgreSQL queries, transactions, and data models.

• Own features end-to-end: from specification and API contracts to implementation, testing, and production.

Requirements

• Strong production experience with Node.js and TypeScript.

• Strong NestJS experience.

• Experience building and maintaining third-party API integrations and webhooks.

• Solid understanding of AWS SNS/SQS and asynchronous systems.

• Strong PostgreSQL and SQL skills.

• Experience with spec-driven, AI-assisted development.

• Strong engineering judgment and ownership.

Nice to have

• Logistics or e-commerce experience.

• Observability experience.

• Familiarity with DDD or hexagonal architecture.
