About the Role

We are looking for a Backend Developer with strong Rust experience and practical blockchain knowledge to join our growing technical team.

This is primarily a backend engineering role. You will help design and build reliable services, APIs, integrations, data-processing workflows, and core application infrastructure supporting our software platform.

Some areas of the platform may involve blockchain-related functionality, including transaction processing, smart-contract integrations, verification, wallet interactions, or distributed systems. However, this is not a purely Web3 or smart-contract-focused position.

We are looking for an engineer who is comfortable building production backend systems and can also contribute when blockchain technology is appropriate for a particular business or technical problem.

The ideal candidate has solid backend engineering experience, is comfortable working in Rust, understands modern application architecture, and has enough blockchain experience to work confidently with blockchain-based services and integrations.

Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain reliable backend services using Rust

2. Build scalable REST APIs and service integrations

3. Design backend components that support our SaaS management and optimization platform

4. Work with databases, application data, authentication, authorization, and secure data handling

5. Develop services for processing business events, workflows, and asynchronous tasks

6. Integrate third-party APIs and external software services

7. Build reliable integrations between internal systems and external platforms

8. Contribute to blockchain-related functionality where appropriate

9. Work with blockchain transactions, APIs, wallets, smart contracts, or verification workflows when required

10. Implement secure transaction and data-processing logic

11. Help design maintainable and scalable backend architecture

12. Investigate and resolve application, performance, integration, and infrastructure issues

13. Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests

14. Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

15. Improve observability, reliability, security, and maintainability

16. Collaborate with other developers when defining technical solutions

17. Take ownership of backend features from design through implementation and production

Requirements

1. Strong professional experience with Rust

2. Solid experience building backend applications and services

3. Experience designing and maintaining REST APIs

4. Good understanding of databases and application data modeling

5. Experience with authentication, authorization, and secure backend development

6. Understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven systems, or distributed architectures

7. Experience integrating external APIs and services

8. Good understanding of software architecture and system design

9. Familiarity with testing, debugging, Git, and modern development workflows

10. Ability to investigate and resolve complex backend or infrastructure issues

11. Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical tasks

12. Clear communication and effective collaboration in a remote environment

Blockchain Experience

Candidates should have practical familiarity with blockchain development, but deep specialization in every Web3 technology is not required.

Useful experience includes:

1. Blockchain transactions and transaction lifecycle

2. Wallet integrations

3. Blockchain APIs or JSON-RPC

4. Smart-contract integrations

5. Digital signatures, hashing, and key management

6. Transaction validation

7. Blockchain nodes or infrastructure

8. Ethereum-compatible systems or other blockchain networks

9. Secure transaction workflows

10. Distributed systems

We are interested in candidates who understand how blockchain systems work and can integrate them into backend applications when there is a genuine technical or business reason to do so.

Preferred Experience

Experience in any of the following is beneficial:

1. Python, TypeScript, or another backend language in addition to Rust

2. PostgreSQL or other relational databases

3. Redis, queues, or event-driven processing

4. Docker and containerized applications

5. Cloud infrastructure

6. Microservices or distributed systems

7. SaaS products or B2B software

8. Third-party SaaS integrations

9. Workflow automation

10. Security-sensitive applications

11. Financial or transaction-processing software

12. Smart contracts or Solidity

13. Ethereum or other blockchain ecosystems

14. Monitoring, logging, and observability

15. CI/CD and automated deployment workflows
