Back-end developer (Golang)

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer (Middle+/Senior level) to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in backend development with a primary focus on Golang, and experience building scalable, high-performance systems. Familiarity with Node.js and payment systems is a significant plus.

You'll be working on backend services that power key parts of our platform, including transaction processing, billing automation, and third-party integrations. This is a critical role that offers autonomy, technical leadership opportunities, and direct impact on our product and architecture.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in backend development

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Golang in production environments

• Proficiency with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems

• Solid understanding of relational databases and experience with query optimization

• Strong knowledge of software design principles and clean code practices

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS services and CI/CD pipelines

• Good communication skills and ability to work independently in a distributed team

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services primarily using Golang

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define and implement new features

• Maintain and improve performance, scalability, and reliability of the existing systems

• Contribute to architecture and technical decisions

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code

• Participate in code reviews, tech planning, and mentoring of other engineers as needed

Nice to have

• Experience with Node.js and TypeScript

• Background in payment systems and billing

• Knowledge of event-driven design and DDD

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP)

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
