Assistant Accountant
🔥Format: Office work (Limassol, Maximous Plaza)
Assistant Accountant will provide a crucial support to senior finance staff by managing day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, accounts reconciliations and data entry. Assistant Accountant will be responsible for processing invoices, managing accounts payable/receivable and assisting with month-end reporting. This role is a key entry-level to mid-level position that often requires proficiency in Excel, accounting software, and a background in finance.
Core Responsibilities
Transaction Processing: Managing accounts payable and receivable, including issuing/processing invoices and processing payments.
Bank Reconciliation: Reconciling bank statements, credit card accounts, and expense reports regularly.
Bookkeeping & Reporting: Maintaining accurate, up-to-date financial records in software (e.g., BTMS accounting software), accurate filing of the invoices.
Month-End Support: Assisting with closing procedures, such as posting journals, accruals, and prepayments.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Higher degree on accounting or Accounting and Finance (BSc).
Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Accuracy: High attention to detail for handling data entry and reconciliation.
Communication: Effective communication skills for liaising with internal teams.
Perfect English is the must, would be nice knowledge of Russian, Greek as a plus.
