Android Team Lead

About the team

Development is organized across product teams and a dedicated platform team. Product teams are responsible for building user-facing features and scenarios, while the platform team focuses on architecture, CI/CD, testing infrastructure, and shared libraries.

We are hiring Team Leads for both directions — depending on your experience, this can be either a product-focused role or a platform-focused one.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Android team, ensuring delivery, quality, and predictability of execution.

• Hire, onboard, mentor, and develop Android engineers.

• Set clear goals, priorities, and expectations for the team.

• Ensure alignment between product, design, and engineering.

• Own planning, estimation, and delivery of features.

• Ensure adherence to engineering practices and architectural standards.

• Improve team processes and foster a strong communication culture.

• Coordinate with backend, frontend, and platform teams.

What makes you the perfect fit

• 5+ years of experience in Android development using Kotlin.

• Experience in a Team Lead role.

• Hands-on experience with architectural patterns such as Clean Architecture, MVVM, or similar.

• Experience working with asynchronous programming using coroutines and Flow, as well as building complex, data-heavy screens.

• Understanding of Android UI design principles and platform guidelines.

• Experience with code reviews, mentoring engineers, and working in cross-functional teams.

Will be a plus

• Experience in finance or trading domain.

• Familiarity with TradingView as a product.
