Analytics Engineer (Risks Data)
We are looking for a strong SQL-focused engineer to join our Risk Data team. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and analytics: you will work with data already delivered into the core DWH and transform it into structured, scalable, and business-ready solutions.
Challenges that await you:
Build and develop DWH solutions for risk management purposes
Design and implement scalable data marts aligned with business needs
Contribute to build BI/reporting solutions to support risk monitoring
Transform raw DWH layers into structured analytical datasets for business consumption
Benchmark and forecast portfolio behavior using internal and external data
Maintain and enhance existing SQL logic to ensure long-term scalability and performance
Build and evolve an integrated risk monitoring and reporting framework
Design and improve data and data quality management processes
Work closely with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and challenge incomplete specifications
What makes you a great fit:
3+ years of experience in SQL development, DWH engineering, or analytical data engineering
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
Solid hands-on experience in DWH development, including analytical data modeling, complex data transformations, and development of stored procedures and functions
Advanced proficiency in SQL with solid hands-on experience in database development and performance optimization
Strong understanding of data warehouse architecture and design principles (Kimball / Inmon / Data Vault approaches, normalization levels, SCD concepts)
Understanding of data versioning concepts (SCD)
Good communication skills and ability to work closely with business stakeholders
B1 or higher English level for effective communication with an international team
Your bonus skills:
Experience in banking or fintech risk analytics and understanding of core risk metrics (vintage analysis, roll rates, portfolio risk metric)
Experience with BI/reporting development
Strong foundation in mathematical statistics and probability theory
Experience with analytical scripting languages (Python or R)
Data Science experience (data preparation, predictive modeling)
