Senior Product Designer

Toloka AI is looking for a Senior Product Designer to shape the experience of B2B clients with Tendem and Self-Service. You'll own the end-to-end design of one of those products, ensuring it feels coherent, trustworthy, and easy to use even as the underlying AI systems get more capable and complex.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who enjoys designing for ambiguity — where the "right" interaction pattern for human-AI collaboration is still being invented — and who can balance fast iteration with quality of each step.

What you’ll do

• Design the core workflows for task scoping, quoting, human-in-the-loop review, and results delivery.

• Improve onboarding and configuration experience, reducing friction for users setting things up without hands-on support.

• Partner closely with PM, engineering, and research to translate ambiguous problems into clear, testable design solutions.

• Involve into UX research — interviews, usability tests, and feedback analysis — to validate design decisions and surface unmet needs.

• Stay close to the regulatory and compliance landscape affecting AI agent oversight (e.g., EU AI Act, GDPR, relevant U.S. state and international regulations) and translate

• relevant constraints into design decisions, especially around transparency and human oversight.

• Contribute to and help evolve the design system used across Tendem and Self-Service.
   

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of product design experience, with a strong portfolio of shipped B2B or B2C products.

• Experience designing for complex, multi-step workflows — task/work platforms, marketplaces, dashboards, or similarly structured products.

• Strong interaction design and visual design skills; comfortable owning a project from wireframe to pixel-perfect UI.

• Experience conducting and synthesizing UX research (interviews, usability testing, survey analysis).

• Familiarity with designing for AI-powered or AI-assisted products

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills; comfortable working cross-functionally with PM, engineering, research, legal/compliance, and marketing.

• Ability to work with ambiguity and translate loosely defined problems into structured design solutions.

Tools & Process

You'll work in Figma for design and prototyping, collaborate in Notion and Slack for documentation and team communication, and partner with data/analytics teams to ground design decisions in product usage data.
