We are looking for a talented AI Motion Designer to contribute to the development of a popular science YouTube project, where complex topics are presented through high-quality visual content, dynamic graphics, and modern technologies.

We are seeking a professional who combines traditional motion design skills with the capabilities of generative artificial intelligence, has strong visual thinking skills, and knows how to transform complex information into clear, engaging, and visually compelling stories.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of video production, animation, AI technologies, and visual storytelling, contributing to the development of a consistent visual style for the project.

Key responsibilities

• Visual concept development: create visualization plans based on completed episode scripts and pre-recorded footage featuring the presenter.

• Motion design and animation: develop dynamic graphics, animated elements, and visual effects using Adobe After Effects.

• AI content generation: create images, video sequences, and additional visual materials using generative AI tools.

• Visual research: search for, analyze, and select historical footage, archival materials, stock videos, and other relevant sources.

• Visual style development: create, update, and continuously improve the project's visual guidelines, including the use of Claude.

• Visual storytelling: select graphic solutions, metaphors, and visual techniques that help explain complex scientific and historical topics.

• Workflow optimization: implement AI tools and efficient approaches to visual content production.

• Video content integration: integrate animations, archival footage, AI-generated visuals, and other visual elements into a cohesive episode concept.

Requirements

Professional experience:

• Practical experience in motion design, creating animated graphics, and producing visual content for digital platforms.

• Experience using generative AI tools to create images and videos.

• Understanding of YouTube content specifics, visual storytelling principles, and audience retention.

• Ability to independently develop visual solutions based on scripts and source video materials.

• Experience searching for and adapting stock footage, archival materials, and other visual assets.

Technical skills:

• Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects for creating motion graphics, animations, and visual effects.

• Practical experience with generative AI tools for image and video production.

• Experience working with text-based AI tools, particularly Claude, for analyzing and structuring information and preparing visual guidelines.

• Understanding of composition, animation principles, frame dynamics, and visual presentation of information.

• Ability to select and combine different visual formats within a cohesive video sequence.

• Proficiency in Russian and a good command of English for working with international sources, AI tools, and prompts.
