At our Digital Excellence Hub in Málaga, you’ll join a senior, international engineering team focused on shipping high-quality software faster and smarter using the latest AI development tools.

Within our Customer Intelligence domain, we are building the backbone that powers customer-centric experiences across the entire Fielmann ecosystem. One of our key initiatives is a scalable data ingestion platform that connects core operational systems with our customer engagement toolchain.

Your mission will be to design and build a robust, event-driven backend service layer that:

• Ingests and transforms high-volume operational data

• Ensures reliable, secure, and compliant data flows

• Enables real-time and batch integrations

• Serves as the foundation for analytics, automation, and AI-driven personalization

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of backend experience with Node.js and TypeScript

• Deep hands-on expertise with AWS (e.g. API Gateway, AppRunner, SQS, Glue, Lambda, Step, etc.)

• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

• Comfortable designing secure, observable cloud-native architectures

• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (e.g. DataDog)

• Experienced with and genuinely excited by AI development tools (e.g. Cursor, Copilot, Tabnine)

• Always exploring new tools and technologies — with a strong drive to turn ideas into shipped products

• Agile mindset, fluent in English, and a strong sense of ownership
