AI Enablement and Agile Coach

RemoteSenior

About TaxDome:

At TaxDome, we’re building the #1 practice management platform for accounting firms in the US and globally. Founded in 2017, we’ve grown into a 400+ fully remote team across 40+ countries, serving tens of thousands of businesses worldwide with millions of end clients.

How we work:

You’ll be part of a globally distributed team built on trust, ownership, and self-management.
We focus on outcomes over activity — prioritizing clear ownership, pragmatic decision-making, and accountability for results over rigid processes. Collaboration is central to how we operate: we communicate openly, involve the right people early, and continuously improve how we build products and teams together.

Who we’re looking for:

We seek an experienced AI Enablement and Agile Coach to strengthen delivery health within a product development Cluster and help its Pods — small, cross-functional groups that form around a delivery goal — find their own sustainable working rhythm. This role is an evolution of the traditional Agile Coach - we’ve moved away from framework adoption and process compliance toward flow, delivery health and the human dynamics that drive sustainable performance in the Agentic Development era.

Our R&D organization is in the middle of an AI transformation and is moving toward agentic development, where AI agents work alongside engineers as part of the workflow, so a growth mindset is essential — you should be excited to rethink how coaching works when Pods adopt AI-assisted workflows and willing to experiment with new tools yourself. You will be embedded in one Cluster as its dedicated Coach and be a part of the Flow Enablement team who share practices and learnings across the R&D organization.

The ideal candidate is a signal reader who detects systemic impediments before they become blockers and who understands what’s happening underneath the metrics — psychological safety, energy shifts and friction that doesn’t show up on a dashboard. We expect their approach to be grounded in systems thinking, evidence-based flow optimization and genuine care for the people doing the work. They should independently identify emerging problems and work with Pods, Product Managers and the Cluster Engineering Manager to resolve them.

Objectives of this role:

  • Serve as a reliable partner to Product Managers, Cluster Engineering Managers and Pods in their efforts to maintain healthy flow, manage WIP and sustain delivery momentum.

  • Detect systemic impediments within the Cluster early by reading signals in flow metrics, Pod interactions and the gaps between what people say and what the data shows.

  • Support Pods through change by providing context, building shared understanding and creating feedback loops that make the impact of change visible.

  • Strengthen product mindset, psychological safety and open dialogue within Pods, helping surface friction, energy shifts and blockers that don’t appear in dashboards.

  • Champion evidence-based improvement: help Pods use flow metrics (Cycle Time, Throughput, WIP age) to make better decisions about how they work.

  • Lead the local Org Design adaptations, identifying impediments that undermine Cluster performance and proactively suggesting sustainable solutions without waiting to be asked.

Responsibilities:

  • Own Delivery Health within your Cluster: monitor flow, WIP discipline and momentum. Raise risks and patterns to leadership when needed.

  • Help Pods find their own working rhythm rather than prescribing a specific framework or process.

  • Coach and support Product Managers, Cluster Engineering Managers and Pod members on flow-based ways of working.

  • Facilitate key Cluster events, retrospectives and alignment sessions, ensuring an atmosphere of honest conversation and actionable outcomes.

  • Apply Systems Thinking to identify root causes of recurring delivery problems and support Pods in resolving them.

  • Work with flow and process metrics — collecting, analyzing, automating and making them actionable for Pods and stakeholders.

  • Support organizational change initiatives within R&D, helping the Cluster navigate transitions and new operating models.

  • Collaborate with management on team composition, Pod formation and cross-team coordination when delivery structures evolve.

  • Maintain objectivity when addressing issues — surface uncomfortable truths constructively, without taking sides.

  • Take ownership of outcomes, not tasks — proactively identify what needs to happen, drive it forward and make your impact visible to stakeholders without being asked.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience as an Agile Coach, Flow Coach, Delivery Manager, or Scrum Master in a role focused on delivery health and team effectiveness.

  • 6+ years of experience in software product development companies.

  • Comfort with ambiguity and evolving organizational structures; experience supporting people through change.

  • Strong understanding of flow-based approaches (Kanban, flow metrics, WIP management), scaling patterns (KMM, LeSS, FaST) and how to apply them in practice.

  • Experience reading and acting on delivery metrics: Cycle Time, Throughput, WIP age, flow efficiency.

  • Demonstrated ability to detect systemic issues within and across Pods and facilitate their resolution.

  • Strong coaching and facilitation skills — able to guide Clusters, Pods and individuals toward their own solutions without prescribing answers.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong understanding of traditional SDLC and ideas on how agentic development patterns change it

  • Experience with flow analytics tooling (DX, Jira dashboards, LLM-based automated dashboards, or similar).

  • Strong sense of ownership and follow-through — you make commitments and deliver on them and you course-correct openly when something isn’t working.

  • Hands-on experience using AI tools (LLM-based assistants, automation workflows) to improve both personal and Pod productivity. Willingness to actively experiment with and adopt new AI-powered tooling.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications (KMP, PSK, CLP, Anthropic Academy, DeepLearning.AI or equivalent).

  • Work experience in SaaS companies during periods of active change and scaling.

  • Practical experience with AI-assisted development environments and automation frameworks (e.g., Claude Code/Cowork, RAG pipelines, MCP connectors, etc.). Understanding of how AI adoption changes team dynamics, delivery patterns and coaching approaches.

  • Computer Science degree or engineering background.

What we offer:

At TaxDome, we aim to create an environment where people can do their best work and grow alongside the company.

  • Competitive compensation, paid in USD

  • Fully remote work with flexible hours

  • 30 paid days off annually, plus sick days as needed

  • Health & well-being support

  • Learning & development budget to support your professional growth

  • English lessons reimbursement

  • Co-working space reimbursement

  • Company-provided equipment (conditions may vary depending on the role)

  • A high level of autonomy and ownership in your work

  • The opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-growing global SaaS company

  • A collaborative, international team with a strong product mindset

If you’re excited about this opportunity and believe you could make an impact at TaxDome, we’d love to hear from you.

Please note, due to the high volume of applications, we are only able to contact shortlisted candidates. We appreciate your interest in the role!
