3D Animator
SPINE is made with Unreal Engine 5 and centered around cinematic gun-fu shootouts. It’s a third-person beat’em’up with a full set of PC gaming features, including a deep storyline, a unique setting, cutscenes, intriguing enemies, memorable bosses, character progression, and, most importantly, breathtaking battles with a wide array of firearms.
We are currently looking for a 3D Animator (Locomotion and Stunts) to join the animation team of our flagship project – Spine.
Responsibilities:
Character animation
Working with motion capture
Working on game projects, mainly on locomotion, parkour, and various stunts
What we are looking for:
Strong understanding of animation principles
2+ years of experience creating character animation for games, film, or television
Good knowledge of Maya
Strong body mechanics and action animation skills: walking, running, jumping, stunts, etc
Experience setting up locomotion systems in Unity or Unreal is a plus
Good understanding of animation rigs and common animation workflows and tools (animBot, center of mass, and similar)
Openness to feedback and understanding of the iterative process
Good verbal and written communication skills
A strong interest in video games and animated films
Will be a plus:
Rigging and skinning
Understanding of Python/MEL
An art education
