Technical Solutions Engineer

We are looking for a Technical Solutions Engineer with a background in Data Engineering, ML Engineering, Python Development, or Technical Project Management to join our team. This role involves working on complex data-driven solutions, building pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working on crowdsourcing and/or machine learning projects.

  • Experience with AirFlow.

  • Hands-on experience in prompt engineering.

What We Expect From You:

  • Background as a technical solution engineer, data/system analyst, data scientist, or technical project manager.

  • Ability to design and implement complex multi-stage solutions and pipelines.

  • Proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, API usage, SDKs, etc.).

  • Understanding of basic software development principles (version control, testing, etc.).

  • Knowledge of data quality metrics (accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, etc.).

  • General understanding of machine learning concepts and LLMs.

  • Strong communication skills to engage with data engineers and developers.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and large datasets.

  • Proficiency in English (B2+).

What You Will Do:

1. Client-facing Communication

  • Analyze customer requirements to develop valuable AI-driven projects.

  • Facilitate communication with clients during pre-sales and project execution.

  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams for seamless product delivery.

  • Comprehend technical terminology related to AI solutions.

2. Solution Building & Delivery

  • Design optimal solutions using the Toloka data labeling stack.

  • Configure data labeling components and automate ML data pipelines.

  • Conduct experiments to ensure data quality and performance.

  • Provide technical leadership throughout project implementation.

3. Solution Maintenance

  • Monitor solution performance and respond to alerts and incidents.

  • Analyze data to identify errors and optimize solutions.

  • Continuously enhance solutions using advanced technologies.

  • Troubleshoot technical/process-related issues in collaboration with the support team.
