Team Lead Product Designer

Requirements

• 5+ years in product design, 1+ years of team leadership within a large company;

• Portfolio demonstrating clear business outcomes;

• Team management skills: planning, task decomposition, design reviews, development plans, and improving team efficiency;

• Experience leading product design from 0 → 1;

• Interface animation skills demonstrated in the portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize the design backlog, estimate tasks, ensure quality and timelines;

• Collaborate with product managers on hypotheses and user research;

• Apply the design system and provide feedback on gaps and improvements;

• Grow and mentor the design team;

• Ensure predictable delivery of design for product features;

• Achieve product goals through design.

Desirable

• Certified courses in team management;

• A library of design management practices proven effective in real work;

• Basic graphic design skills;

• Experience implementing AI tools to improve team efficiency and speed.
