About the Project
For our international client in Berlin, we are looking for a Software Engineer to join the Application Platform team and contribute to a large-scale cloud migration project.

You’ll be working on a high-load AWS-based platform that:

• Hosts 1000+ services on EKS & Serverless

• Handles ~1 billion viewer requests daily

• Uses Jenkins & JFrog for CI/CD (90+ pipelines)

• Relies on Datadog for monitoring and observability

The team follows a “You Build It, You Run It” approach, empowering engineers to fully own their services.

Hard Skills

• Strong experience with TypeScript (Node.js) and Java (Spring Boot)

• Solid experience with PostgreSQL

• Hands-on expertise with Docker, networking, Linux servers

• Strong knowledge of AWS services & APIs

• Experience building and consuming REST APIs

Soft Skills

• Pragmatic mindset with the ability to simplify complex systems

• Product-oriented thinking

• Ability to drive and communicate technical decisions

• Mentorship mindset and knowledge sharing

⭐ Nice to Have

• Experience with Tomcat, .NET, or PHP

• Familiarity with PostGIS

• Ability to read Vue.js code

• Understanding of SOAP (for legacy migrations)
