Senior QA Engineer

As a Senior QA Engineer you will be a part of App Platform team in QIC app. The App Platform team focuses on foundational platform and product tasks that span the entire application. Our mission is to ensure the app’s sustainability and scalability by maintaining the codebase, addressing system support, and managing cross-functional product features.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with developers, designers, analysts, and managers in a Scrum team

  • Test current products and identify deficiencies

  • Plan and coordinate testing activities, thoroughly identifying and documenting bugs

  • Suggest solutions to identify product problems

  • Investigate product quality to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction

  • Plan, create, and manage testing documentation - checklists, test cases, etc

  • Collaborate with the Test Automation team to ensure sufficient test coverage

  • Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution

  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer

  • Experience with testing native Android and iOS mobile applications, and APIs

  • Strong expertise in functional, regression, exploratory, and integration testing

  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)

  • Understanding of build types, environment configuration, feature flags, remote config

  • Ability to analyze logs (mobile logs, backend responses), and crashes and errors (Firebase, Sentry, Crashlytics)

  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle

  • Deep understanding of QA processes, tools, and techniques

  • Ownership mindset: ability to drive quality, not just execute tests

  • Good time-management skills

  • English lvl B2
