Senior Product Manager – SME Lending
Working format:
Cyprus: Relocation package is provided.
Spain: we are only able to hire candidates who possess a DNI (for Spanish nationals) or an NIE (for foreign nationals). Relocation support is not provided.
Poland: employment will be under 'Umowa o Pracę' (UoP). Relocation support is not provided.
What You’ll Be Doing
New Launches: Lead the rollout of new markets, products, and customer segments within credit programs. Post-launch, take full ownership of one of these initiatives and lead it to long-term success.
Strategic Product Planning: Shape go-to-market strategies and define clear, actionable roadmaps to guide the development and continuous enhancement of credit offerings.
Market Research & Customer Development: Conduct in-depth research into the competitive landscape, market conditions, and evolving customer needs to inform product vision and strategy.
User Journey Optimization: Generate and validate hypotheses to build seamless, customer-centric experiences — all while ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and business goals.
Data-informed Decision Making: Leverage analytics to monitor and improve KPIs, validating decisions through testing and user insights.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders (including Engineering, Data Science & Analytics, Marketing, Sales, Legal, Financial Crime, etc.) as well as external partners to ensure aligned execution and successful delivery.
Who You Are
You bring 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in consumer-facing digital products, with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions for business customers, particularly in lending or financial services.
You live and breathe customer needs, using frameworks like Jobs to Be Done to uncover the real problems business owners face. You’re relentless about conducting customer interviews, synthesizing insights, and translating them into products that solve pain points and delight users.
You’re a master of product craft, excelling at defining and prioritizing strategic roadmaps that balance customer value with business goals. You shape clear, user-focused requirements, iterate through hypotheses, and validate solutions with data and user feedback to ensure every feature hits the mark.
You’re confident in owning the product vision and strategy, aligning cross-functional teams, leadership, and stakeholders around a compelling narrative. You’ve driven products from ideation to launch, ideally in lending or fintech, and know how to prioritize to deliver results.
You combine strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of customer problems, using data to inform decisions while keeping the user’s experience at the forefront. You’re adept at measuring success through outcomes, not just outputs.
You’re an exceptional communicator (in English, written and verbal), able to distill complex ideas into clear, inspiring stories for customers, teams, and executives.
Nice to Have
Experience working in a high-growth startup, scale-up, or similarly fast-paced environment, with the ability to balance rapid iteration and long-term planning.
A background in fintech or financial services, with bonus points for direct experience in credit products.
Familiarity with the SME segment in Europe, including a strong understanding of its unique challenges and needs.
Hands-on experience with analytics tools such as Amplitude, Metabase, and SQL.
