Senior iOS Developer

Pure is a global dating app committed to bringing honesty and fun into the dating world. We believe that dating is more than just swiping – it’s a delightful journey where everyone can discover something special, regardless of their preferences.

We're looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join the team! You will be working on the current Pure app and our iOS SDK for the backend platform. At Pure, it's not just about rewriting old features - as our product is growing rapidly, we are constantly developing new features, so you won’t get bored. This also means you will have an impact on our code base and get to bring new ideas to the table!

The role

You will join the Monetization team, working closely with Backend, Design, and Product. We release to production weekly and continuously experiment with new product ideas.

What are we looking for?

• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience

• Strong expertise in Swift and modern iOS development (iOS 15+)

• Solid understanding of architectural patterns (VIPER, Redux, Clean Architecture, etc.)

• Experience with TDD & unit testing.

• Working with manual layouts.

• Strong knowledge of Git.

• Experience with audio and video calls.

• Messenger development experience.

• Experience with embedded shopping.

• Experience with dating apps.

• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform
  

What will you be doing?

As a Senior iOS Engineer, you will:

• Drive architectural decisions and shape the evolution of our iOS codebase

• Contribute to technical roadmap planning and product discovery

• Take ownership of large feature initiatives end-to-end

• Develop high-quality iOS features using Swift

• Collaborate cross-functionally to align technical solutions with user and business needs

• Continuously improve application performance, stability, and maintainability

• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of the app

• Refactor and evolve the codebase to keep it scalable and clean

• This is a role for someone who thinks beyond implementation — someone who cares about product impact and long-term technical quality.
